Steve Canavan's review of the debut show at The Continental, Preston, called it less a gig than a full production — video and graphics projected behind the band, and an entrance in a giant spaceman costume. He rated the songwriting up there with Billy Joel, Beck, and Ben Folds, and the set closed to a standing ovation.
